Long before we launched the website, we spent months evaluating apparel from many of the biggest names in the industry. Some shirts were too thin. Others shrank too much, felt rough, fit inconsistently, or simply didn’t live up to the reputation they had on paper. A few looked fantastic in a catalog but didn’t survive real life.
We weren’t interested in printing on whatever happened to be the cheapest option that week. We wanted apparel we’d genuinely be excited to wear ourselves, because if we wouldn’t wear it on our own cruise, we certainly weren’t going to ask you to.
After more than a dozen rounds of testing, three products rose to the top.
Not because they were the most expensive.
Not because they were the trendiest.

Our standard T-shirt is built on the legendary Gildan Ultra Cotton platform, and for good reason.

We freely admit it.
We spoiled ourselves on the tank tops.
The Comfort Colors C9360 is, quite simply, one of the most comfortable tanks we’ve ever worn.
Made from ring-spun cotton and garment dyed for that broken-in feel from day one, it has the relaxed fit and incredibly soft fabric that made Comfort Colors famous. Instead of feeling like a promotional shirt, it feels like an old favorite that’s already survived a dozen beach vacations.
Since tank tops are practically part of the cruise uniform, choosing anything less never really felt like an option.

Every lineup has a surprise favorite. This was ours. Before we started testing hoodies, we expected to end up with one of the bigger retail names - with a much heftier price tag.
Instead, the Independent Trading Co. SS4500 quietly outperformed products that cost significantly more.
The first thing you’ll notice is what it isn’t. This is not one of those slick, shiny athletic hoodies made from smooth performance fabric. If that’s what you’re looking for, this isn’t it.
Instead, the SS4500 features a soft cotton face that feels like a traditional premium hoodie should. The exterior has a natural cotton texture that’s comfortable, durable, and ideal for producing crisp, vibrant prints. Inside, the brushed fleece lining is exceptionally soft, making it just as comfortable on a cool evening at sea as it is around a backyard fire pit months after your cruise is over.

We don’t believe sizing should be a guessing game.
Every garment we offer was selected not only for quality, but for consistency. Our T-shirts, tanks, and hoodies all provide a comfortable, true-to-size fit designed for everyday wear.
If you normally wear a Large, order a Large.
Simple as that.
Currently, Ship Show Shirts offers sizes Small through 3XL. While some manufacturers produce additional sizes, they’re often available in limited colors or inconsistent inventory. Rather than advertise options we can’t reliably deliver, we’d rather offer a lineup we know we can stand behind.
After all, we’d rather disappoint someone with honesty than with an email explaining why their favorite color is suddenly unavailable.
That’s just how we do business.
